My mother has died after a terrible stroke. I’m in New Mexico now, dealing with everything that follows, and I’m struggling with it all. There won’t be a post this week. I’ll be back next Friday.

Hi Sylvia,
My thoughts and sadness fly to you. I have lost both my parents and the loss affects me now, years after. BUT my own grief and sadness has become fond memories of the good times we shared.
In time I hope you will land in that same place.
So sorry to hear this Sylvia – wishing you all the best
As a double stroke survivor myself I send you my deepest commiserations and thoughts to you Silvia at the worst time of year for this to happen. May she rest in peace. Much love to you. X

Take the time you need, Sylvia. We’ve got plenty of past posts to review.
I wish you strength when you need it, and the space to be weak and feel the loss when you need it, too.
I’m using the time to browse your substack at https://sylviawrigley.substack.com/ . The Oct 18 entry has a picture of pictures of zeppelins, but is only vaguely aviation-related. I do enjoy the writing, though.
